I just had to change my clutches about a month ago, I never noticed it slipping anytime other than on a hard take off. I was told that is was proably the heat, dirty oil, or the wrong type of oil, but I tryed everything but to get them changed and nothing worked so I had the local dealer change them. No more slipping no matter how hard I take off. If I were you I would have it looked at by a mechanic maybe they could tell you what the problem is before you tear apart.
